Rafael Jones is just starting out as a private investigator after working as a detective for police forces in Buffalo and New York, NY, when he's asked to help Interpol to get enough evidence to get cooperation to bust criminals who appear to have committed homicide in three countries as well as art smuggling. What he doesn't know is that the world has mysteries he has never dreamed of, and he is going to get in so far over his head he will never be the same.
This is the premise of a new series, starting with Forever's Too Long. Set in 1947 in New York, as the jazz era meets the start of the Cold War, the story will be of equal interest to the fans of pulp/noir detective fiction and fantasy readers. I'm a little under halfway done writing it, so other books with similar names are not it!
